lodging feelings into a campaign

the brief

EOFY is a peak period for Xero and small businesses across Australia that rely on accounting software to keep their numbers in balance.

In my role as graphic designer and art director in this campaign, we created the vibrant, playful assets that encapsulated the Emotional Tax Return campaign from social media competition, to a physical activation experience, to cut through the noise of EOFY advertising.

We incorporated some new colours and created a fun set of icon illustrations, pressing a lighthearted tone to a normally stressful, busy period for small businesses.

bring the blue world to life

We built on the existing campaign with the art direction of a fully immersive all blue Xero world. A functioning Xero Emotional Tax office, to relieve the stress of our small business owner community and reward them after a long financial year.
